The Cardiff Hawks Australian Football Club awarded Life Memberships of our club to sixteen people at our Annual General Meeting last Sunday.

Under the constitution that was adopted in 2016, players who have played 200 games for the club can be considered for Life Membership of the club upon the recommendation of the club committee.

The meeting also endorsed nominations for the awarding of Life Memberships to Peter Risby and Brian Page.

Brian played for the Hawks in the 1980’s and ‘90’s and was the First Grade football manager when Andrew Larkin’s team won the premiership in 1998. Brian was also heavily involved in fundraising for the club.

We congratulate both Peter and Brian on their elevation to Life Membership of CAFC.
